    Control curtains with Beo4

    Hi.

Which possibilities exists if I would like to be able to control curtains with a Beo4, like I've seen in Beoliving environments??

What I'm looking for is everything needed to make it work. Do I need a special kind of curtain holder with IR and a Lintronic box, or is there any B&O solutions out there?? and which prices can I expect.

    Re: Control curtains with Beo4

So far I've only been able to find this: http://www.odsif.dk/De%20Luxe.php

Unfortunately it's only in Danish, but it can be controlled by B&O remotes, as well as by temperature and by schedule.

But as it cost 5800 Danish kroner at it's cheapest, I'm not going to buy it.

    • Busch-Jaeger
    • Lutron
    • Conson
    • Crestron

The following also have products which can be directly controlled by the Beo5

    • Lutron GRX16-IT
    • Lutron HomeWorks
    • Lutron Maestro
    • Lutron RadioRA
    • G-Rail 6000 series (curtains)

    Hello,

I control my sun blinds with my Beo 4 in combination with a lintronic box and X10 switches. The components work really good together especially since i added a  B&O infrared receiver (the round one) to the system.

    Greetings Ralf

    Re: Control curtains with Beo4

I`m using the Lintronic relay board 108 to control 14 blinds. For the blinds I got Somfy 24V motors via ebay, alu pipes, two 24V supplies direct from Somfy Germany and the drapery from Denmark. The blinds are controlled via Beo4s LIGHT color commands. More info: www.Lintronic.dk. Michael from Lintronic made a special firmware, so the blinds can also be controlled by cinema mode of my BV7-40 and by an optional switch (Lauritz Knudsen).

Price was about 1000-1100 Euro for the whole stuff (8000 DKr).

    Hope this helps.

    Stefan
