We have been in email contact this afternoon, and here's a little feature on the man himself - our celebrity for the day

We asked him the questions we posed earlier this week on the forums - and here goes..

1)  What was your first experience of, or contact with B&O products – is there a moment or time in your life you can remember?

As a small kid, couldn't tell when.

2)  What was your own first piece of Bang & Olufsen, and what year did you buy it?

My beosound 2, about 5-6 years ago.

3)  What job did you do then – and what do you do now?

Secondary school, I'm a student now.

4)   Where do you live, and what’s it like – rural, urban, trendy, classical?

By myself, Rotterdam, Holland, urban, but a nice neighbourhood.

5)   How and when did you first stumble across BeoWorld?

Looking on the forum, the first time was today!!

6)   What were your first impressions of the site – good, bad or indifferent?

Fine, it looked clarifying.

7)   Did BeoWorld ‘do what you needed it to do’, and was it long before you came back?!

Just signed up today, and then I got this e-mail!

8)   How would you like to see BeoWorld improve?

Lennert is 20 years old, initially thought my email was a phishing scam, and is now convinced (and delighted) that he is indeed our 10,000th member!!

I'll bet you didn't expect all of this attention when you joined

Hopefully you can cope with all of this new-found fame - don't worry it'll only last for the proverbial 15 minutes. I've been here since the off but, despite many thousands of posts, have never amounted to anything other than a mild annoyance -  proving that there's room for everybody here, that's why it's such a great (and very popular) site. There's hardly ever any fighting and when there is it's settled in the time honoured Beoworld tradition - Duel by Halibut at 3 paces. There's rarely any serious casualties (other than the Halibut, obviously) and folk tend to shake hands and smile afterward - it's just that sort of plaice.

I hope you find us helpful and friendly and you become on of the (very many) regulars

                  welcome to Beoworld and thanks for sending the photo to Lee so we can all see the fresh faced youngster who has become our 10,000 th member. Don't worry though - after a few years of dealing with the likes of Puncher & Jandyt a few lines will appear and spoil that youthful complexion.
