Evening Gents!
It was my understanding that the original male to female mains power cables can no longer be manufactured as they are prohibited under recent EU law (not sure which one). This is likely to be the same ruling that caused the demise of the 4mm banana plugs commonly seen on hifi amps until recently.....
I was told that the problem was due to the male plugs having exposed pins that could potentially be live under some (very unlikely) fault conditions. As a result, I no longer sell any mains cables with male 2pin plugs.
However, you may find that some B&O dealers still have "new old stock" male to female mains cables that they are willing to sell to you?
Otherwise, I would suggest that you consider a separate mains cable for each item (system and speakers) - I keep these in stock in a variety of lengths if you need them.
Hope this helps,
Steve.
