    Beocentre 2's tolerance

Does anybody else find that even a slighty scratched DVD is unreadable on your Beocentre 2?

I have reconditioned so many of my DVD's so I can enjoy them on the Beo rather than the panasonic upstairs on which they work, but i'm getting tired!

Yes, I have experienced that my Beocenter 2 (Mark I) is more sensitive to DVDs than any other cheap DVD player, in 1-2 percent of my DVDs. My DVD2 is less fragile for DVDs.

This is a known problem with the MK1 BC2. What was news to me is that one user reported few days back in the german forum that a software upgrade improved his situation.

Might be worth giving a call to your dealer.

    Cheers
