I own a [beautifull] BV3.32 with DDS module with 2 front and 2 rear speakers and a subwoofer attached to it, my question is : can I adjust the crossover for the subwoofer [if the subwoofer does not have such an option] on the BV3 and if possible how is this done ? Is this DDS programmed to deliver under a specific e.d. <50hz the bass tones to the subwoofer channel ?

Hi, the BV3 does not have crossover settings for the subwoofer, it automatically sends the low frquencies to the sub, and the rest to the other speakers, prevented you connect the sub to the sub output and the other speakers to the proper front & rear outputs at the back of the TV. It is probably also the best way to have a linear response.

What you could try is change the speaker settings for front/rear, so the cross-over changes. If you have small speakers, you can select larger Belolabs, so less bass is sent to the sub. Vice versa if you choose smaller Beolabs, then more bass is sent to the sub. If your speakers are in the list then the settings should be optimal for your combination.

I have a similar setup and I did use a sound pressure meter and the speaker tests from THX DVD to optimise the sub integration. In my case the sub was too dominant and I adjusted with a setting of -6. Since then I am very happy with the setup.

thnx for the replies and suggestions, here is another one : can I attach a second super deep sub >12hz [the Dali has >28hz] to the dali {BV3.32 DTS/DSS module to red/white RCA/cinch Line In and then use the red RCA/cinch line out to connect the second sub to the first one ? or can I use the second mono output in the Din5 at the BV3.32 to "split"the signal and use them both at the same time [this is a thought because of our relative lack of deep in the Dali with movies etc. has anyone got an idea/suggenstion ? thnx !
