    Beovox S80

Hi Everyone, if I may ask a favour, can anyone tell me the width and depth of the bottom of a Beovox S80 or S80.2 speaker

I am going back to a shop tomorrow to buy some stands that could be perfect for my pair of S80.2's , but I am 250 miles away from home

    thanks

    Peter

The measurements are in the database - look here. Ignore the picture as it is of S120s!!

thanks Peter, I looked there first, but scanned it too quick, silly me !

unfortunately the pair of stands I saw today are too big then, does anybody know where I can buy S80 stands from ???   either copies or original, I have been looking for over 5 years now with no luck  :-(

Oops! Just gave someone a pair! Why not have some made? They are just a square base with a pillar and a T bar.

I have a pair for sale, PM me if you are willing to travel up to Ely. Pair of S80.2 with foam rot to go with them if you wish. Immaculate Rosewood cabinets and frets.

thanks for the offer Graham, but I wonder what the 8 inch ( 205mm ) Peerless woofers would cost these days, does anybody have any good suggestions on where to buy Peerless stuff other than ebay or Wilmslow

    thanks

If they're the same as those in the MC120.2s, then approx £50 each.

Will repair the Peerless units for less than £20 per driver if you remove from cabinets.

I would prefer to have the original drivers repaired  if possible rather than buying modern replacements.
