Hi, in my hunt for the my new audiosystem(i sold my BS9000 which i have regret since), i am thinking what to do?

Buy a BC2? i actually had one of these in my Avant VHS days, but sold it when i bought the BV7-32 3 years ago.

What is the latest SW for the BC2? The one i had could play MP3 cd's, but would only show 8 characters of the DOS filename, no ID3 tags or anything. Have this changed over the last 3 years ?

 Does anyone have a list of SW versions with changes/additions/bugfixes for the BC2.

 I have seen the BS5, tried it out, but i really don't think i want one.

Mine is the same but works well with my Mac and beoport so MP3 CDs are not an issue. The latest software for the Master Unit is 5.20 . 5.10 is the big one though and supports the new acoustic keypad - unfortunately this can only be fitted to Mk 2 BC2s.

how can you tell if your beocenter 2 is mark I or II or other?
