    MMC10 ?

    Hello,

Was MMC10 also a series of cartridges like MMC20 or there was just one type MMC10E which I have already seen twice on e-bay?

I found somewhere that "MMC10E was replaced by MMC20S". But this does not say if MMC20S was better or not... ?

How would you describe MMC10 E ? Its build and its quality...

And why is not mentioned in the list of cartridges here in Beoworld?

    http://www.beoworld.org/products.asp

My second question: maybe someone from the Beoworld members has spare protection cover for MMC20 cartridge ?

    Re: MMC10 ?

The MMC10E is the exact same cartridge as the MMC20E. So in that respect it is superior to the MMC20S.

I think it was made for the American market but why? No ideaConfused

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

    Re: MMC10 ?

I have found also some ones on Beogram's 1600 and 1700 bought in France in the 80's. The MMC10E is listed in the French B&O catalogue "THE COL-LEC-TION" of that time and as Chris says has quite similar specifications to the MMC20E and thus of course an elliptical diamond stylus! This is a good little cartridge that needs 1.5 g to extract correctly the music of our dear old vinyls.
