My BM 6500 remembers all the stations that I store but I can't seem to get it to remember the treble and bass settings? is it because I'm trying to do it with a Beolink 1000 or is it because the lithium battery could be dead?

Drained lithium battery in the Beomaster. Replace the battery and put in new settings.

Note that first time powered up after mounting the new battery, you don't know what the settings are. You can risk a high initial volume setting. I like to power up on tape or aux with nothing playing there the first time and then change the settings.
