    BeoVision 10 - it's here! Beo5 - strange behavior.

So it finally arrived and was installed in my living room today, exactly on the date that was confirmed after the initial delay.

    What a beauty, a masterpiece!

The sound has been a bit underwhelming, in the bass department, but I am making some tweaks. I think I will buy the new subwoofer when it comes for sale.

I had my BV10 with the motorized stand and Beo5.

The Beo5 has been acting a little strange, though.

It is currently set up by the Config Tool to control Mac Mini (Apple Remote PUC), Sony BDP-S360 (PUC for S300) and the BV10 of course.

For some reason I experienced a sudden battery drainage, and the Beo5 just died. I was playing in the Apple Remote mode when it happened, though I did try out the Sony Blu-ray player also, so I cannot say what exactly caused the sudden power loss in the Beo5.

I was under the impression that the "official" PUC sources/codes available in the Beo5 Config Tool and the BeoVision 10 are problem free. If the Beo5 keeps on acting up, I guess I'll consult Keith @ Beo5 Forum.

My initial impressions of the TV are simply great, however. It's placement and look make it the "modern day" Avant :)

Here's one happy BV10 owner, and it was worth the wait.
