I would like to know what are the functions "Film mode" and "Backlight" on BeoVision 7. What are they used for? And how can they be switched off. Are the pictures brighter when backlight is switched off? Can backlight function cause dark pictures to apear even darker as they should? Should backlihtt be switched off if HD module is built in to get better picture quality or not.

Answer the backlight issue is this: try it on and off and see for yourself the difference between the modes. I prefer it on, for example.
