    Beo 6000 Speakers

    Hi,

Nubie here, so hoping you'll be gentle

I have the Beo 6000 Speakers but need to extend the wiring as I want to reposition my CD

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the 8 pin extension cable please

    Many Thanks

    Steve

Either solder longer cables on yourself or buy female-to-female Powerlink adaptors from any B&O spares specialist.  The only one I know of is AVA www.avaservices.co.uk.

B and O dealer should have the adapter as well as longer cables.

You can daisy chain speakers if that makes it easier. One cable from the CD to the first speaker and then a cable from that speaker to the next.

easiest way is to buy some powerlink from your dealer (just the cable, no plugs) and splice it into the existing cables. ie - cut the cables in half and add the new powerlink by soldering each individual core.

If your exisiting cable is in a wall/under the floor etc you may have to install new cables from scratch.

    Hope this helps.
