    Beomedia 1 setup questions

    If I want to connect a Beomedia 1 to a BV7, the PCG tells me I should connect them using a VGA to DVI adaptor.

    It does not tell me to connect a MasterLink cable, nor a Scart cable.

    Question... how does the TV control the Beomedia 1????

    I've connected mine using the VGA input on the BS3 and also a connection to the existing ML network  so I assume it receives the commands on the ML bus.

    You need a VGA - DVI cable if you have a BV 7-40 MKII. The MKIII got a VGA input. Masterlink and analog audio is also needed. If you have Link-TVs connect the composite-out to composite-in of the Beovision.

    Beomedia 1 will be conrolled by the BV7 via ML in PC mode.
