Really nice! I´ll guess that the Lab 3:s are "glossy"?

Does anyone know if the white BV8 is hard to keap clean?

I think it is, because of the rubbery plastic.

    Re: A superb combination

I really hoped that they would change the black rubber speakers to white, so it would have been an all white version.

I think it looks cool, but I would rather have an all white version.

Very! It is difficult to remove dirty finger prints.

I received my BV8-26 in June and decided to give it a good clean on Sunday as the screen was greasy (it's in the kitchen). As there is no glass, there's only so much force and cleaning you can apply to the screen surface.

It took ages to get it clean. At one stage I was panicking a bit as I only ever seemed to move the grease around the screen and make it much worse. After a lot of hot water and paper towel, it was clean. Not something I want to do again, soon.

The white BV8/BL3's look good, but I've seen the white BL3's and they are very glossy, unlike the black versions which are the same style as the BV8. I wonder why they did this? Nothing else in the B&O range is glossy white!

At my work we have tissues with cleaning agent to use on LCD panels. Maybe those could be used to clean the BV8 too? It is very hard to remove grease with water only.

But the lines of the BL3 clash with the glossy texture and black speaker membranes in my opinion - a pretty ghastly looking product that wouldn't be welcome in my house Erm

Sorry, I should explain my words more carefully - I meant nothing in the range that you'd normally partner with white glossy speakers. ie. there are not glossy plastic TVs or Beosounds.

I'd actually like a white BV8 (although the ones I've seen in various dealers go a little 'grey' over a period of time!) and white rubber matte BL3s.

Hold on a sec guys. Are white BL3s an official colour now? I think they look great from what the photo shows. Thanks for posting this Fredrik.

In answer to the white BV8 question, it is hard to clean off any marks that get onto the white rubbery surface. It really holds onto marks such as dirty fingers, dusters which aren't very clean etc.

My dealer told me they were advised by B&O UK not to have a white BV8 on display for this reason. It's a shame as the white BV8 looks really good in my opinion, but with a single mark it's ruined.

yes, but as we said, they aren't like they are in the photo - they're very glossy. Plastic gloss. They should be the same as the white BV8. Matte white.
