I am the owner of a BeoCenter 2 MKII and I read MP3 CD with compilation of more than 100 tracks.
I have 2 problems with this device:
- can not display the MP3 file name on the screen of the machine,
- can not go to a specific MP3 track directly.

For the first point, the answer I got from BeoCare is that my BeoCenter is specified to work like this ! I think the hardware is not compatible with this functionality so I forget it at the moment.

For the second point, does anyone has an idea of a solution that permit to access directly to a specific track (without passing each track one by one with the arrow button) ? I think that the burning process of MP3 CD is concerned but I do not know exactly what to do...

Does anyone know if there is an upgraded version of BeoCenter 2 resolving this 2 points that is planned in the future by B&O ? and when ?

I agree that the BC2 is not very useful with MP3 CDs. I have stopped using them and access my MP3 tracks via a Beoport. Far more control and using an iPod Touch means I can access any track easily.

I think you will find that the Beosound 5 is likely to make this task easier for B&O only users.

Does it transpire that Peter too knows more about the Beosound 5 than he has let on??

Another problem:

If I press DVD (inserted a CD-MP3 in BC2) appear the title of album and track for a short periode of time. And I don't know how I can do it to see the title!!! Angry
