My setup:

Bs7000 + Mx6000 connected in livingroom.

Mcl speaker link in kitchen

Mx 5000 in extra room linked with mcl2av.

Now my question:

Can I connect my bedroom mx4002 to the datalink on the already linked mx 5000. I have the converter 1611 and a datalink y-connector.

Due to wiringproblem I cannot connect with y-connector between Bs 7000 and mx 6000 in livingroom (did this earlier with success). But it would be possible to wire to the x-tra tv set.It's not neccesary to get video signals to mx4002 but I'd like to be able to use timer in BS7000

I don't see why not. Obviously you could just use another MCL2AV but in principle your idea could work! It is not in the set up manual though!!

So I can also use the covered datalink socket on the mx4002. Interesting. I´ll give it a try, or actually I´ll try both solutions
