    New manuals on site

Some of you may be aware that we have changed server for our main product site and since then have had a few issues uploading new manuals. Thanks to the actions of Keith, who is a technical wizard without whom I do not what we would do, we have bypassed this problem and hopefully will have a long term solution soon.

In the meantime I have sanned the following and we have put them on site:

Beosystem 8000 sales brochure - I have been meaning to do this for a while but could not do it it when I got it as I only had an A4 scanner then and misplaced it when I got my A3 device! It refers to the late version with the BG8002 and Beocord 9000 - I think it is made with the US market in mind!

Beomaster 1000 T2316/2317 - we did have a Mauritron version but it missed out all the good bits! I have scanned a full version in .

Beosound Ouverture - the first part of the service manual was corrupt so I have replaced it and I have put on the add on for the new laser mechanism - this will also do for similar models like the 2500.

Beovision MX4002 - the service manual is now on and covers the MX4000 6000 and 7000 as well - I think we have a version of this already but this one appears to be better.

Beocord VX5000 - we have the service manual on and this also covers the 5500 and 4500. Many thanks to the member flambart who sent me this.

The Beogram CD50 service manual now has page 1-10 in it - the page for the remote control.

I have also put on the September 2008 version of the Product Configuration Guide

Many thanks again to Keith for making this possible.  Remember you need to be a Gold or Silver member to access these.

I am going to put some more catalogues on next - also looking for things we don't have on - please contact me if you can help or if you have a request.

That Beomaster 8000 brochure is awesome. Thank you Peter. As it turned out my system has the same units and it works/looks brilliant together.

I can also agree on the Beosystem 6000. Well done!Smile

That's only a fraction of what Peter has done - honestly, he works so hard with the manuals it's untrue!

Thanks again, from all of us.  Smile

Thank you! Now I can finally fine tune mine. Yes - thumbs up

As a side note, the FM stereo decoder (I never knew  BM1000 was available without one?) board looks at a quick glance to be identical to the one that was used in BM900. Lots of the 900s around don't have one, so this might be useful information to someone...

Could someone with a Windows computer check that the new PCG software is working - someone has reported it is corrupted but I cannot check as I am on a Mac!!

Edit: I see you meant the Product Configuration Guide Embarrassed Unfortunately no, I can't open it with WinZip 8.1. Perhaps the archive uses a feature that is not supported by all zip software?

Yes it has worked for me...

The zip file opens fine and I could install and run the new software.

The DVB-T and DVB-S module for the BV7-32 has been added I have noticed, compared to the version I had before.

I was hoping to find the Beomaster 5 / Beosound 5 in it, but no luck ;-)

Odd. I can unzip it even on my Mac - it just doesn't work on OSX!

Did you all pick the last in the list?

Works fine on my somewhat antiquated machine but I have to choose the Windows 2000 version despite running XP Pro SP3

PCG works fine on my antiquated system too. Better still, I didn't have to mess about, changing the file name this time.
Thanks for all your work Peter, you're a star.Smile

Yes. I now tried on the Vista machine at work, and there the archive works.

I'm pretty sure the zip archive has been created with some option that makes it incompatible with older zip software, or it has an error that some unzippers are able to ignore. It won't unzip on Linux either.
