I have a Beocord 9000 which in every other regard seems to operate as it should except for whenever I record. Calibration procedures go through fine, playback of any tape not made on the 9000 play fine, but whenever I record every tape is overloaded. The record sliders have to be almost fully down to keep the peaks from always reach the red. Any ideas as to why this may happen?

Hi, Thanks to member Dillen this problem has been solved. As a new member of Beoworld I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have my 9000 up and running. My first post gets answered quickly and precisely. What a way to start!
