    beomaster 5000 IR receiver

    Suddenly. none of the 3 remotes I have for my beloved Beomaster 5000 is working.  Recently my son got ahold of the MCP and I was wondering if he somehow disabled the Beomaster from communicating with the remotes?  Hopefully there is a code...

     

    If not, I do have an older Beomaster 5000 of which I could possibly harvest for parts to fix the unit.  Any advice will be appreciated.

    Have you tried diconnecting the Beomaster from the mains supply for 10 mins. Then turning it back on, this seems to cure a host of problems it seems.
