    Tuning BS3 with Sony Bravia

    Hi All,

This could possibly be a replication of an earlier post, so i apologise in advance if that's the case.

Can anyone offer some guidlines or pointers in tweaking a BS3 for use with a Sony Bravia LCD.

    Thanks,

    Ash.

P.S. B&O screen is not an option at this point in time, but don't think i've not thought about it ;-)

Im afraid you cannot do this and if you do the results will be significantly worse than if you just use the sony as a standalone.

The BS3 is more of a hinderance than a help unless you pair it with the commercial series of panasonic panels

I am using my sony bravia XBR LCD with Beosystem 3 without any problem. Picture quality is excellent and I am even able to turn the tv on/off with beo4 remote. Please explain what problem you are having when conncecting sony to BS3.

The BS3 does not improve the picture- so the only reaon for using it is integration with other B&O items.

The point was if you are starting from scratch better use the panasonic commercial series which is what the BV4 is

Re: Tuning BS3 with Sony Bravia

My query was relating to any fine tuning settings you may have changed when first installing the BS3. I already have the Bravia and the BS3 will arrive later in the month. After hearing from my dealer that it will work okay, 'with some tuning', i was curious to hear feedback from other members as to what the picture settings they used to achieve a good quality picture.

I'm not expecting the BS3 to improve what i already have, just to integrate it into my B&O speaker environment.

My dealer recently performed a software update to my BS3. After the software update, I wasn't able to get picture on my sony screen. After a long run around someone from beocare called me and walked me through changing some setting in the service menu. If you run into same problem give me a pm.
