    Hello everyone--Happy to be here!!!

Hi everyone! I was doing some research on a B&O product when I found this forum! I am a B&O owner--a pair of Beolab 4000 and a Beosound 3000--for about 8 years already. This music system was purchased in the US on 110v and now converted to 240v through a transformer in SE Asia now.

Here's a photo of my setup

Looking forward to participating in the discussions here!!

    Hi Lecorbusier,

    and welcome to Beoworld.

I think this place is the best when you want to learn more about Bang & Olufsen.

Welcome!  You'll enjoy it here as they are a good crowd.  I suspect that after a few months your B & O collection will either change or grow.

Welcome to Beoworld. I see you already have the real bargain speakers - these are in my view the unsung stars of the B&O range. Lovely design though perhaps a little understated compared to the 6000 and 8000. I love them and have two pairs!

A warm welcome from me as well, Lecorbusier. Your name suggests an interest in architecture, which is a good thing. I look forward to you participating on the forum!

Thanks everyone, for the warm welcome!

Yes, once upon a time I studied architecture. One of my first pilgrimage of architecture was visiting Scandinavia. I discovered a very big showroom for B&O there...!

I play a mixture of MP3s and CDs on the beosound system. Usually, I just interfaced it through my Ipod Touch via auxiliary connection using a Monster cable. It is quite convenient as the new Ipod Touch as a vertical incline rest that just looks like the beosound standing at an angle! I don't play from the Macbook Pro because it gets too hot after a while...

However, nothing beats turning the lights down and seeing the CD spin in the soft light of the beosound...
