    A8 headset

Listening to these A8's on my Ipod for some weeks now, and I must say they're great. Crystal clear sound. Comfortable wear. Build quality is without competition, magnificent craftmanship. So these A8's are a definite must have for the Ipod listening B&O enthousiast and for everyone who wants the most out of his Ipod.

My local B&O dealer mentioned once that Apple do sell A8s somewhere for iPods.

I bought my iPod three years ago and used the white apple-headphones that came with the iPod. After a year or something I first time saw A8's somewhere and I decided to buy them right away. A bit expensive yes but certainly worth it! And the leather bag for the A8 is also very usefull and indeed stylish!

Guys, I feel that the A8's are really wasted on the iPod :( Every time i use the iPod (for convenience) i'm left disappointed with the artificial and shallow sound.

Try using them with a Beovision, Beosound CD player, or a Beosound 2 &/or 6... wow, wow, wow - they really are superb in this application.

Which iPod are you talking about? The latest ones really are rather good actually, although the iPod Touch and the iPhone mk1 don't really perform quite as well. They still sound good though. BeoSounds 2 and 6 are definitely better performers sonically though!

I am using the A8 with my Ipod for a couple of years now. No complaints here. Huge difference to the white ones. I actually do have the some "Shure" ones as well, however they don't work as well as they do no not seem to fit my ears properly nd that seams to be key for them.

I wold actually not buy the A8s at teh Apple stor ein NYC, I would visit one of the B&O stores, Upper West Side is very nice and the neighborhood is interesting.

    Cheers

It's the latest classic ipod, and it is acceptable sound but the difference is massive, to my ears.
