Beogram 2000 type 5240 bias and tone arm setup help needed

Just aquired a nice Beogram 2000 5240, no manual with it so I am a bit unsure how to set the stylus to the correct weight. Is the numbered dial at the side for bias or weight,?  Should the end weight be turned first so that the arm balances itself ?, I have an SP14 stylus so any advice is welcomeErm

With the dial set at 0, turn the balance weight so that the arm floats. Once you have achieved this, turn the dial to 2g for the SP14.
