i bought a beosound 3 2 years ago, last year the top panel stopped working. My local dealer fixed it by replaceing the panel. Its worked fine upto a few weeks ago but now the same problem as come back!!  I've taken to my B&O dealer but they are saying that the warrenty as ran out and want to charge me for the fix!

As anyone else had this problem with the top panel?

Does anyone have advise about the warrenty issue?

Not impressed - If you have not dropped it etc, email B&O and complain. I would contact Struer rather than Winnersh.

No infact i hardly use it - just the alarm feature and of course treat it like a baby when i do move it around.

is a phone call the best way of contact or an email/letter?

I would email via the official site. They have always been very helpful to me.

That's a problem of BS3 MKI, in high humudity & electrostatic conditions areas. Here, in Canary Island, more of the 50% of top panels of the BS3 MKI have been replaced, included out of guarantee, because we considered that it was a product problem from the manufacture. If your dealer want to charge the work of the replacement, I think that you have to email Struer, telling them about...
