    No Tv problem

My set-up is , Room 35' x 17' , Bs3 , 6 Penta's , BL 10 Centre , Samsung Spa800b projector and Bs4500 via a Bl Converter and have two problems  . Because I don't have a Tv in this set-up it takes three commands to get the screen and projector down and play a Dvd ,  I have to call Tv , count to 10 then Format 0 and wait for the screen to drop , then Pc to call up the Ps3 Blu-ray . Second problem is I cannot get all the Penta's on when I call for audio , all I get is the BL 10 centre , speaker command 2, 3 , 4 wont do anything and have to lower the screen and projector then the speaker commands work and can get full audio sound .
B&o installed this and have contacted Denmark requesting a fix and have given the engineer some software changes to try next week , this problem seams to stem from the fact there is no Tv in the set-up , has anyone got any suggestions apart from getting a Tv [:'(]  ?

    Re: No Tv problem

Just bought a Systemlinen ARC 7 remote (Link to website) via ebay for around 100$. This one is supposed to be programmable with macros (set of commands).

As is the the BEO 5!

Problem 2: how are your Pentas set (I remember a switch to change audio, video?)?

    Re: No Tv problem

I've got a Beo5 and a Beo4 cinema , I will try and program a command chain in the Beo5 to get a one press Dvd start up , but don't know if it will like a stack of delays to get 10 seconds between Tv and Format 0 . Tried the Tv and audio switches with no result , Tv command is the same only centre speaker , have to call Tv or audio first to get the system to come on then Format 0 to drop the screen ( Format 0 does nothing if you press that first ) then Pc ( Ps3 ) or audio and all speakers come on without a speaker call .

Maybe some of the Beo 5 sw owners/experts could assist you (via PM at least...).

    Good luck!

My dealer programmed me a similar button on my Beo5, but he didn't have to stack delays. I don't see why what you describe should not work!

Even the technician couldn't fathom out why it wouldn't go to straight cinema with one press , hopefully Denmark will have an answer . Probably the Beo5 is the answer but prefer to use the beo4 , doesn't roll about on the sofa like the 5 does .
