I have a cunning plan about building a beosystem 6000 / 8000 system after I was given a Beocord 8002 and i already got a beogram 6002. But what IR-codes does the beomaster use, what remote control should i start searching for? I already got a the terminal for the beosystem 5000, is the codes the same?

You should look for the Beolab Terminal.

That is the original one for the beomaster 6000/8000.

Ok, thanks, I'll start searching, sounds like a good project for the summer holiday. By the way, how realiable are the beomaster 6000/8000? I seem to remember different people in this forum having their problems with keeping them running.

If people are interested, I'll post some pictures when i get the Beocord 8002 up and running.

I have heard the same thing about reliability, but i have yet to encounter my first problem with my setup. The BM 8000 and the beocord 8004. I am getting the beigram 6006 on Saturday:-)

What kind of speaker are you planning on using?
