How to set up a "link" system with MX tv sets?

    Hello Beoworlders!

I'm novice concerning :link: capabilities! I have two MX tv sets . One in bedroom (MX1500) and one in the living room (MX4002) with all av goodies (V8000, DVD1, HDR1). Please give me instructions how to connect both rooms , in order to watch movies and control through my bedroom the items in the living room! I have all the remotes (Beolink 1000, Beo1 and Beo4, and Beolink 7000), except the Beo5.

     Greetings to all!

    George

The problem you have here is that the MX1500 is not link compatible. Unfortunately you have another problem in that the MX4002 is a link room set and is designed to be used with a bigger set in the main room - an Avant or an MX7000/8000 would be such sets.

What you need is something like an MX7000 and this can be your main room set which you would connect via both Master link and a RF aerial connection to the 4002. The video devices would attach to the MX7000 and you could then control them in the link room.

Sorry not to be very helpful.

And you need a VCR if it's MX7000.
