AV 7000 with outboard passive equalizer...

    Hi guys..

You helped me with this before...on another unit (BC 9500)....now....here's what i'm wanting to know...

Got an AV 7000 connected to Aux/Datalink to a 1611 converter.....to ML ....to the BS 9000.....

Connecting all 5 speakers to the AV 7000 as it says in the manual.....

Question:  Is there any way to connect a passive equalizer to this set up??

If so....where....i don't see connections on the AV 7000 that would work...would this go into the BS9000???

If so...how would this work...as all the speakers are connected to the AV 7000....

    THanks...keith

The short answer is no, there is no way to do this. The difference between the passive center and the active front and rears make this untenable. You can always adjust Bass and Treble within the AV7000 itself, however
