    CD to Beomaster 6000

I have a Beomaster 6000, the 80's one, and would like to connect it to my CD7000. Could some one tell me if its possible. I am sure i is but dont want to connect it to the wrong socket and find I damage either of them. I take it that remote control is a no no with these two units. The Beomaster does have the remote module but it cant control the CD can it.

    Thanks in advance

You can connect to an AUX or TAPE socket and the CD7000 should play from it's front panel control. The remote will not operate .

I had mine connected to the TP2 RCA inputs. You need an adapter lead for this which are easy enough to obtain. It works fine although no remote of course and limited control from the front panel. If you don't use a Beocord you could, as Graham says, connect the CD7000 directly to the TAPE input where, from memory I think it is possible at least to stop/start the CD player with your BM6000 remote terminal.
