Lifestyle AV - Fantastic Service
I know I am preaching to the converted, but I wanted to share this with you anyway. My father originally got me interested in Bang and Olufsen 25 years ago when he bought a Beocenter 7000 - it has been used almost every day since until late last year when it developed a fault with the LCD screen. We have an excellent local B&O independent engineer who can repair most things, but couldn't get the parts to repair it. I started to look on ebay for a similar unit and considered upgrading to a Beosystem 7000 or Beocenter 9500, but my father really liked the older unit and he already has a B&O CD player connected to it. Anyway, on the off-chance, I called Lee at Lifestyle AV - I've bought many things from him over the years (28" Avant, Beosound 3000, Beolab 8000 etc) all of which have been great, and in perfect condition. Lee rooted around his store, and found an ex-demonstration Beocenter 7000 in original box and packaging and in perfect working order. It arrived today and at last my mum and dad can tune into Terry Wogan in the morning! The unit is 25 years old but absolutely perfect, a real time warp item - both my dad amd I are thrilled. .....unfortunately my dad has been battling an illness for a while - to say the arrival of this unit lifted his spirits is a great understatement - I am so pleased and cannot thank Lee enough. Whenever I've dealt with Lee he can't do enough to help; he dosen't try to sell you something just because he has it in stock; he knows his products inside out. It seems like a simple philosophy to run a business, so why is it so rare? I certainly won't be buying any future B&O items from anywhere else. Thanks Lee, you're a legend! Gary

What a nice story Gary, and the same philosophy is exactly what Lee has brought to Beoworld. Chris.

Only thing I've ever bought from Lifestyle AV was my CD7000, but they were fantastic! Highly recommended (and Lee is a top banana).

So............. if I've followed the thread correctly, LEE is a Leg End Banana.............. seems reasonable to me! Chiropodists are available in your area, try Yell.com

I have a loads of dealings with Lee but have only purchased from him once. I bought a Masterlink cable from his eBay site and it was a little late arriving. Maybe I was just impatient actually. Lee didn't know it was me at the time, but as soon as I contacted him, he immediately sent a second cable to me. No questions asked! A few days later, both cables arrived. A true gentleman! BTW, being a gentleman myself, I sent one back. (Wonder if I'd have done the same if it was a Beolab 2 ) Andy T.

Dear All: Would someone kindly post the link to Lee's eBay site? I am the US. Will I know if the electrical parts will able to work at 120V? Thanks, Dario

Re: Lifestyle AV - Fantastic Service
Can I say that I have been very critical of B&O recently to the point where I don't want to deal with them anymore. The shining star in the B&O framework is Lifestyle-av though and as I have said before if dealers had half the custimer service that Lee (and Matt) have then they wouldn't be in the dire state that they are in. Many thanks for you service Lee

gorissek: They've even changed the UK plug to the Euro one without me asking for it. Wonderful! Thanks Lee.

Re: Lifestyle AV - Fantastic Service
+1 I stumbled accross Lifestyle AV whilst googling B&O around a year and a half ago. At that time all my mates were buying flats screen plasmas and although I loved my Avant 32 I couldn't help feeling it looked a little dated.. Spotted a BV5 on Lifestyle, phone call - happened to be Lee who I obviosuly didn't know at the time. Had plenty of time to chat with me. Put deposit down over phone and asked for fret to be changed to black. No problem. BV5 was delivered a week later by Matt.. and the rest as they say - is history! I have worked in the service sector for 20 years now, many of them for Christie's the auction house in London - and I can categorically say that Lee is a true gentleman and if only 1% of people took after him on both a business and personal plan - the world would be a better place to be. You're a top man Lee.
