    Beolab 6000 speakers

    Hi,

I have just purchased a pair of Beolab 6000 speakers to use with my Beomaster 5000 system. Can you tell me what cable I need to get them working.

I have a pair of CX 100 at present using the 2 pin din plugs.

There is a 2nd set of sockets for speakers and they have 3 holes. The 6000 leads are 8 pin din.

Please can someone suggest what to do.

    Thanks Nick

You will need a pair of Phono/Phono cables. One for left and one for right. (Phono = RCA in some countries)

Use the line sockets in the Lab6000's and connect to the Pre Amp out sockets on the Beomaster.

    Regards Graham

    Thanks Graham.

Is this something I should get from B&O ?

    Cheers Nick

You could do but they would be expensive.  Better to buy from Maplins or maybe even your local electrical retailer. They are very common items.
