    BV 3-32 Problem

    Hello!
Have problems with my BV3-32 type: 8800 serial no: 16125182, suddenly lost picture and sound. After flashing the image to just one seconds are doing this all the time. When I try to turn off the TV with the remote so it works not, is forced to take the power cord to help to turn off the TV.
When the TV is off and I look through Link TV starts BV3 TV and degrades the entire link system and stands and flashes
When I broke the flow a longer time so it works for a while and then the problem will return. Has spoken with the dealer he says that it is only to change the chassis. Now I have 300 km one way and it is one of the smaller dealers.
    Has anyone been through this?
Does anyone have a suggestion what I can do?
Writing in English is not easy for me / U.

    Re: BV 3-32 Problem

Sorry for the delay in responding to your posting.

As far as I can understand your problem is as follows:-

    • Sound and Vision go completely
    • You cannot turn off the TV with the remote

It sounds like you have a heat related power supply fault where a component is failing when it gets hot, unfortunately B&O's service policy these days is not to fix to component level meaning the dealer has a kit of all the assembly parts, that's why your dealer has told you that he will have to change the chassis which will not be cheap.

Unless you are a technical person with knowledge of electronics/TV you will need to get the B&O dealer to fix your problem.

    Regards Keith....

    Keith,

Can I solder on at any point or? I`ve noticed that when it is hot inside that`s when the problem occurs? Then I put a fan that blew on the back-side of the TV, then TV is good.

    /U.
