    Beocom 6000

I have 2 Beocom 6000 with 1 base station from way back and althought they are working fine, I have a long time problem with the handsets' phonebook not in sync. Also, the caller ID lists don't sync as well - ie when I viewed some missed call numbers on 1 handset, the other will still display them as missed calls.

I guess they are fairly trivial problems but have been bugging me for a while...would be nice to get some advice...Thanks!

You can have the phonebook etc set to either personal or common with common being the default.

It seems to me that you have at least one of them set to personal.

If you have a mark II handset the press OK and turn the dial to SETTINGS then press OK

Now turn the dial to HANDSET and press OK

Now turn the dial to COMMON and press OK

Changing a handset from personal to common causes the personal Phonebook, Caller ID and Redial list to be replaced, NOT supplemented, by the common lists. Updating the Phonebook, Caller ID and Redial lists may take a few minutes.

    Hi Keith

Thanks for your advice now I understand my phone must have been set to 'personal' setting.

If you have an earlier version (Mark I)  then it will have a DOT on the button at the 9'oclock position and if it was a Mark II version it would have the letters INT

As you appear to have a Mark I version then:-

Press DOT then MENU (7) and turn the wheel for handset/base then press OK

Turn dial until you see COMMON and press OK
