    AM Loop BS9000

    Ok,

This weekend and with much planning and thought process i will start to chase out the walls in my lounge for wiring up and masterlinking my system (they will be buried in such a way that i can hopefully remove in the future if necessary). I have everything ready to go except for an AM Loop for the BS9000.

What i need to know is if there is a special AM loop for the 9000 that is suitable for burying in the wall? I would like to run it up through the wall and just leave the end between the lounge ceiling and bedroom floor. Do you think this would be OK for getting a good AM signal and if so can someone point me in the direction of the correct AM cable.

    Thanks Gang

    Mark.

    Re: AM Loop BS9000

I have a long black twisted AM cable (Must be between 5 - 10mtrs) from B&O, it was a special part then and should still be available. Tried to put it in the wall but am it did not work. Ended up plastering in the cable down to the skirting board and running it along the board to nearly its full length. Worked reasonably well now though my $10 AM radio works better.

Try B&O extended AM Antenna for BS9000. I have no part number for it.

     Good luck.. Beoaus

    hi Mark

You could use the standard am loop and remove it from the plastic surround frame, then just hide the wire behind the bs9000

    Thanks lads,

Just bought an extended AM aerial loop from my dealer, which is apparently very long and should do the job.
