    Is the monday poll dead?

We haven't had any monday polls this year. Is it dead or is it only on holiday?

    Hi Tom!

You may see we have changed all reference to the Monday Polls in the forum heading..

Of the almost 5,000 members, you are the very first person to realise they have stopped - which is pretty much indicative of how popular they were!

We had a discussion about this on the moderators forum, and decided to drop the Monday Poll as it wasn't proving popular. Instead, we still have a 'Poll Archive' and will hold them as and when we see the need for one.

If anyone has any ideas for polls - please PM me..

I understand your decision. I had hoped it would be more popular, but it wasn't...

Hey - you don't try, you don't know!

I'm always up for new ideas that might improve the site, and this was actually my initial idea.  However, it tripped over its own shoelace and landed face down in a slab of wet concrete. Now.. erm.. isn't the weather nice!?!!

Reminds me of the old joke about the guy walking along the street with a case which is 10cm square and 6m long.A stranger approaches him and asks "Are you a Pole Vaulter"? ............... To which he replies "No I'm German but how do you know my name is Walter"?Stick out tongueBig Smile
