    Beosound 9000 + Airport Express/AirTunes

    Hello All,

I have an Apple Macbook and I'm tempted to buy Airport Express and try
connecting it to my Beosound 9000, so I can play iTunes through it
via Airport Express's AirTunes. Does anyone have any personal
experience of this and would they recommend it or not?

    Thanks

I have it with the BS9000. 3 of them to stream synchronized to different rooms and to share my dsl modem.

Soundquality is very good, I way better then through line out of my Powerbook G4 12". Wait past Tuesday next week, Apple will do announcements at Macworld. Maybe there will be soomething new even though I doubt that.

    Cheers

Since the tagline for the start of tomorrow's expo is 'There's something in the air' you might as well wait and see what Steve Jobs has to announce.

This is a great combination.  I have a 3200 with AE/itunes and a Mac Power book.  Nothing like sitting on my couch randomly flipping thru itunes and playing music.  Very easy to set up, very easy to run....In fact I also have a BS1 with a AE in my bedroom and you can pipe music all over the house.  Not too expensive either..... let me know if you have any questions...

One more question. Which cable do I need for a Beosound 9000?
Can someone confirm it's RCA jack to AUX?

Will any good hifi shop sell this or do I need to get one from B&O?

I've bought the Belkin stereo cable Apple sell, but I think it's the
wrong one because can't find any sockets for it.

    Thanks

You need 3.5mm stereo plug to aux. Any B&O dealer would have that cable, if you search ebay for olufsen and IPOD you will find plenty.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150205800656 for example ...
