    volume control beosound 3200v

Goodday; I have the beosound 3200, but not the remote control yet.  When I try to adjust the volume on the beosound it doesn't work; when I go to the option; then sound it displays "use tv"  I have also seen this in the user's manual; then I'm supposed to adjust this on the tv or video.  However I don't have this hooked up at all.  Does anyone know how to set the beosound in such a way it doesn't do that?  Or any other way to adjust the volume on the beosound?  Thank you very much, Paul

It sounds like it's in the wrong option mode, but how you'd fix this without a remote, I don't know!

You need to run test mode 37

Place the unit in test mode like this

Wait 20 - 30 sec. after connecting to mains.

By means of keyboard from St.by mode: Press Display 0 2 5 8 with no more than 2 sec. between the individual enterings.

    Then enter 37

    Press Standby to exit testmode.

Option setting will be returned to 1 and you will have normal keyboard control.

CD memory should not be affected.

    Regards Graham
