    Beocenter 9000 power supply

Hi, this is my first post and I am glad to be the proud new owner of a Beocenter 9000, which I wish to restore to its former glory.

It had the usual CD mech problems that seem to be quite common and this was cured by replacing all the caps on the CD pcb.

Most were measuring way below their indicated value, with a couple showing virtually zero capacitance. Not surprising considering its more than 20 years old!

This led me to the power supply, which upon investigation revealed two leaking 6800uf 40v caps, thankfully the pcb was not corroded by the electrolyte. Again on checking, they were all measuring well below what they should.

My question is this: having decided to replace all the psu caps, does anyone know of a source of suitable capacitors, preferably the same as the originals as their may be mounting issues with alternatives.

    Thanks in advance.
