    Beovision 3 in North America!?

    Smile

There is an available Beovision 3-32 here in Canada.  Is there any way that I would be able to use it?  We are NTSC standard.  I think it's a nice looking tv.

I read the description here and it seems it will accept NTSC through one of it's inputs, and that it is ok with 50 or 60 hertz.  So as long as I bump up the power to 220V am I OK as long as the signal goes in through this input?

Any thoughts?  Or, waste of money (under $1000)?

It's probably the same one that I saw on Ebay. If it is, it is true from the specs that the video aux input is NTSC. But that's it! As for voltage, I think also you can make it work with 110/120 the use of transformers. However, I'd recommend you stay away.for not much more you can now buy properly spec'd Avants (ie. North America) on Ebay. Yes and Avant is larger, but at least your paying for technology that you can actually use. Obviously, if you're looking at a BV3 a tube TV is ok with you.

Good luck though, and let us know what you decide.
