    Beovision 28" Avant (widescreen) 1994

    Hi:

I have just bought the above and was wondering if someone could answer the following questions for me:

    •  My uncle is a TV repair man and thus would be capable of repairing this if it went wrong if he had the parts. I am asuming due tothe age of this set that the tube is likely to break at some point. Thus are tubes readily available for this system. If so, where would I be able to get them from?
    • I understand that the later models of this set had pro logic boards built in (mine may well have it too - I am waiting for it to be delivered so do not know yet). Did the earlier ones have this and if not can these boards be bought and slotted in?
    • If I bought an Overure at some point could I use the masterlink to make the sound produced come out through the TV whilst saving for speakers?
    • Is the TV NTSC/Pal switchable - I watch laserdiscs and a majority are American.

Many thanks for your help and apologies if these things have been answered in previous threads.

    Graham

1: Not sure B&O have there own way of doing things, so it's properly not what his use to

You can get a new tube from B&O

2: it was optional, you can get it as spare part

3: Yes But... You have to unplug the Dolby pro logic module because it's not possible set Front Speaker to none

4: I think it change automatic
