Refurbishing wood finishes on Beovox speakers

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried sanding out the scratches on old beovox speakers and repolishing.

Or perhaps taken them to a french polishers for a make over?

Anyone had success doing a DIY job on their old speakers to make them look new again?

It depends how deep the scratches are! Remember this will be a veneer finish so don't sand too hard. To finish, either use Danish or Teak oil, or beeswax. I use Danish oil personally.
