    Beogram 8002 "tap"

    Hello Beoworlders,

I have wondered if there was a meaning the the "Tap" at the left side besides the dust cover of the Beogram 8000 series. Mine is working its way out, but I hasn't become a problem yet. Is it holding the dust cover on axis?

    Here's a helping pic:

That's the hinge pin. It runs the full width of the Beogram and holds both the dustcover and aluminum lid.
Push it back in flush with the side of the Beogram.
Put a coin or similar between your finger and the pin to minimize the pain.Laughing
