    Beolab 3000s

I just moved my system...beomaster 9300, pair of beolab 8000s, a/v 7000 and two beolab 3000s.  the beo lab 3000s act like the amplifer not working in either one, they produce a weak tinny audio at the max (+9) settings. do not know what I could have done wrong.  the front channels (8000s) sound normal.  Any help will be appreciated.

    Re: Beolab 3000s

Perhaps one of the switches is not in the correct position,
f.e. : is the switch on the side set to AUDIO ?

yes...think there must be a "reset" or fuse or system command to turn them back on to their normal state...thank you for responding

    Re: Beolab 3000s

    Hi,
You can try to reset them by disconnecting the Powerlink cables and then reconnect again
(all connections and switch settings have to be done before connecting to mains again)

    Re: Beolab 3000s

As you are using the AV7000 I am assuming you are using the 8000 as front and the 3000 as rear. First step is to figure out the source of the problem. Connect the 3000 as the front and see of you get sound out of them. If so, your problem is with the AV7000 and/or 9300 or the connection between.

My guess is the 3000s are fine, but you need to reconfigure your AV7000. Do you still have the installation guide, that will take you through the initial volume level adjustment for he speakers?

    Re: Beolab 3000s

I have tried power down, plug/unplug, moving the powerlink cord from the front pl to the rear pl jacks the 3000s act the same....as if the amp is "off" an I am forcing the audio through.  Seems as if the 3000s are at fault...strange that they would both act the same unless they were damaged by a power surge at the same time....or something equally strange.

    Thank you for the response
