Realy quick answer required PLEASE Beo4 and BS9000

Bought the new Ian Brown album and just settled into the arm chair with the form1's on, and the beo4 wont control the 9000. No speakers attached to 9000. They are in the kitchen temporarily attached to MX4002 which is masterlinked to 9000, no problems there.

I could read some literature and manuals to find the answer, but to honest, i cant be assed to get out the arm chair.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers.

Just shoe-horned my backside out of the arm chair and into the kitchen/diner. I have full control of the 9000 in the kitchen through masterlinked mx4002 which temporarily has the lab4000s connected, but no conrol in lounge with beo4.

From memory when you have no speakers plugged into the powerlink it automatically goes to option zero and hence the remote will not work. You will need to trick it by plugging in your powerlink lead.

With no speakers attached the 9000 reverts to option 0. Reset to option 2 and it will work.

Every time you switch the 9000 off it will revert to option 0 so you will have to reset to 2 again. It's no good just plugging the PL cable in to try and fool it, it has to have speakers connected.
