    Beocenter7007 Tape Belt length

    Hi

     Does anyone know the "length" of replacement tape player belt that is needed for the 7007 tape deck? 

    Any help would be appreciated as the one in mine has literally melted?  Anyone seen that before?

    They're prone to this Jerry - my Beocord 5000 belts had melted to such an extent that they were glued on to the wheels, and I had to use some solvent to clean the sticky mess off before replacing them.

    Not sure what length the belts are on a Beocenter 7007, but I'm sure Martin Olsen (his user name is Dillen on this forum) will have some spares in stock. I'd drop him a PM if I were you.

    Too right, mine were that bad as well, in that the belt had basically turned to a sticky mess, no way of determining the length from a pool of black stuff!

    Have now got to try and determine if the motors work. The solenoid engages but not sure whether it will all work even if a new belt is fitted.
