    Which is the Master...

I've been reading all these manuals on the site....god they are great....

And I believe someone the other day said that the AV/7000 is not a Master....and i'm now a bit confused..

I've got an AV7000 datalink cable to a CONVERTER Masterlink cable to a Beosound 9000...

I'm going to have to connect all the speakers to the AV 7000 to get the 5.1 surround....and then put the BS 9000 in OPTION "0" yes...???

So the AV 7000 would be the master in this case?????

SECONDLY.....since i'm going to be taking an aux. sound imput (not for control, just in and out sound)....that would connect to the AV7000 or the BS9000......this gets confusing....

     Thanks..

ahhhhh  thanks...though...I just found the answer in the Masterlink book, way toward the bottom.... .....the AV7000 is kinda acting as the master and you put the Beosound in Option "0"...

You do have a slight problem in that the AV7000 is a US only model so most people on the forum have no experience of them! (Myself included!) It is an interesting device though and was designed so that you can use third party AV equipment with B&O speakers as much as anything.
