Hi,
I am hoping to tap into some wisdom. I have a Beogram 1000 Seires 5203 but the speed selector doesn't work correctly. Well to me honest it works at 45 rpm but not at the 78 or 33 settings. It seems as the idler wheel is not touching the rod (step cone pulley?) which drives the pulley/ turnable mechanism at these settings. I don't completely understand how this mechanism works in order to repair it. Would someone please explain it too me ?
Does the idler disk move only up and down or should it move horizontally as well so that only the edge of the disk should touch rod connected to the motor ?
Thanks
