    can anyone tell me if both MCL82 & MCL2 will both work with both my Beomaster 5000 & Beomaster 5500 systems?

    Welcome to BeoWorld. Only MCL82 will work on your BeoMaster 5000. MCL2 can be used, but for that you need a special converter which is quite rare.
