Morning All

I have just aquired a Beocentre 4000 with Beogram 1600 turntable (my dream been hunting for 20 years) - just re-foamed speakers and now need to get deck moving freely have ordered some synthestic turntable oil from USA but would like advice on how and where to apply  the motor and drive gets the arm over the record it then comes to a halt - will play if i stand and hold the turn button (tedious after a while)

All help (for novice) greatly appreciated
