Hello all,

I've bought a very nice Beocord 2000 K de luxe reel-to-reel tape recorder, working specimen needing just cleaning and minor adjustments, I believe.

I really like to put it in top condition and learn to use its many features (mixing, echo etc.) but it is a rather complicated machine, and I have previous experience only with much simpler tape recorders. Advice on its adjustments and advanced features are really appreciated!

I haven't found User or Service Manuals for it (or fore any of its close "relatives" either) anywhere. Any idea if those manuals are available ?

I did have the users manual. Was very comprehensive. I thought i scanned it for the site but maybe not. I will have a look in my draws and see if I can find it. If I do, its yours. I do have the BC1500 manual which I could scan if you like.

Manuals for BC1800 and BC2400 are here as well, I think they are as close as the SC1500 manual for the real thing?

Really sorry but the manual has gone. Any progress on the Whitley. The hurricane in the garage hasn't moved in 3 years. My fathers owned it for over 40 years and it's only done 40000 miles from new.
